The Epilepsy Center of Northwest Ohio is hiring Non-Medical Transportation Driver to join our mission driven team. You’ll help individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities live full, empowered, and independent lives through safely access their community.

Pay: $17.00 per hour,
Locations: Lucas and Wood County
Split - Schedules: 7 AM - 9:30 AM AND 2:30 PM - 5 PM
Anticipated Hours: 20 - 25 hours a week

Responsibilities include assisting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities with safe and reliable transportation:

  • Safely transport clients to/from home, adult day services, appointments, and work sites
  • Supervise clients during transport and ensure safe loading/unloading
  • Maintain clean, sanitary vehicle and complete daily inspections
  • Maintain transportation records and communicate with staff and team leaders
  • Follow all Ohio DODD, county board, and transportation regulations, including mandated reporting

Qualifications you need to thrive in this role if you are:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Clean and Safe driving record (no more than six points on license)
  • Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition individuals weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to pass BCI/FBI background checks, physical exam, drug screen
  • CPR/First Aid certification (post-employment)
