Position Summary

The Pharmacy Driver Technician is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of prescription medications to patients. This role also supports pharmacists and the care team with medication-related tasks, including MTM support, inventory assistance, clinic formulary maintenance, and 340B compliance. This is a position of trust requiring professionalism and strong customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely deliver prescription medications to patients’ homes or businesses
  • Plan and manage daily delivery routes for efficiency
  • Operate and maintain the delivery vehicle
  • Collect required documentation, signatures, and co-payments
  • Meet delivery deadlines and service standards
  • Provide courteous, professional service to patients
  • Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and care teams
  • Follow all workplace, safety, and compliance policies
  • Report safety issues, incidents, or concerns to management
  • Use basic computer systems, including Excel

Qualifications

  • Minimum age 25 (insurance requirement)
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Valid Florida driver’s license with clean MVR (7-year report required)
  • Successful Level 2 background check and MVR clearance
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
  • Required vaccinations; PPD upon hire
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Spanish and/or Creole bilingual skills a plus

Requirements

  • Level 2 background clearance
  • Required immunizations and health screenings at time of hire
  • BLS Certification
