Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm @ 6043 Hollywood Blvd, 90028. Must have Driver's License and your own vehicle with insurance.

This position is a has dual-responsibilities of coordinating shower operations for unhoused populations and delivering medications and providing delivery-related support for patients served through homeless services, including mobile clinic, satellite clinics, and street medicine.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with the clinical and homeless services teams to identify, communicate, and help address non-clinical barriers related to medication access and continuity, serving as a connector between patients and care teams in community-based settings.
  • Coordinates, monitors, and maintains shower schedules.
  • Orients with new shower clients with the following steps:
    1. connecting to appropriate staff to ensure registration and insurance enrollment
    2. providing a tour of the health center
    3. basic assessment to link to internal services
    4. Monitors client behavior and ensures compliance of Shower Program rules
  • Distribute disposable towels, toiletries, and/or donations (if applicable) to each shower client.
  • Maintains order and assists facilities personnel in keeping all assigned areas clean and free of spills, trash and safety hazards.
  • Performs routine shower checks.
  • Responsible for the storage of donations during the shift.
  • Completes incident reports in a timely manner.
  • Contacts security guard and on-site designated supervisor for any security/safety emergency or disturbance within or immediately outside the facility.
  • Delivers medications and pharmaceutical supplies (excluding narcotics) to patients served through homeless services, including satellite clinics, mobile clinic sites, and other approved locations.
  • Ensures safe, secure, and confidential transportation of medications in compliance with all applicable regulations and organizational guidelines.
  • Follows assigned routes and delivery schedules as directed by the supervisor.
  • Loads, unloads, prepares, inspects, and operates vehicles used for medication delivery.
  • Completes delivery logs, documentation, and proof of delivery as required.
  • Observes and communicates non-clinical barriers related to medication access or continuity to the clinical and homeless services teams in a timely manner.
  • Coordinates with clinical staff, case managers, and outreach teams to support follow-up needs related to medication access.

Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bi-Lingual in Spanish a plus
  • Committed to working with the homeless and disconnected population.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the work environment.
  • Basic computer knowledge; ability to use computers, tablets, cellphone for record keeping
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in medication delivery 
  • Current California license  and state-required insurance when using personal vehicle on Clinic business and a driving record acceptable to the organization and/or insurance carrier.
